The Maryland Wrestling Rankings are updated regularly throughout the season, about once per week, to reflect the cumulative results from the wrestlers. Head-to-head matches are definitive and easy calculations for the team as rankings are being tabulated, however it takes a village to be as thorough as possible when updating the rankings. Coaches, sports journalists, and the wrestling community at large play crucial roles in contributing to these rankings, providing valuable insights that contribute to the overall assessment of the high school wrestling landscape in Maryland.
