2025-2026 Archives Are Live and Locked in Stone

The 2025-2026 season is long gone but the final rankings are now permanently archived on Legacy Wrestling.

Our third season was our best yet, and the race for the top team in Maryland was one for the ages. Archbishop Spalding, Mount St. Joseph, and McDonogh went back and forth all season in a true three-way battle. McDonogh beat Spalding, Mount St. Joseph beat McDonogh, and Spalding beat Mount St. Joseph. Every one of the three had a claim to the top spot, and when the dust settled, Spalding finished #1, with Mount St. Joseph #2 and McDonogh #3. In D.C., St. John’s College claimed the top spot.

With so much talent coming back to all three programs, this year’s race should be a lot of fun to watch.

The archive includes the final Maryland and D.C. team rankings, the final Maryland and D.C. boys individual rankings, the final Maryland girls rankings, and our Kids All-Star Team. These are locked in stone and will stay on the site for good.

A special shout-out to our Kids All-Star Team, the boys and girls who represented Maryland at the Mason Dixon Duals. The boys took down national power Pennsylvania and Delaware on their way to a second-place finish. Korbin Kiessling, Merrick Fraser, Edward Encarnacion, Eva Encarnacion, and Grayson Richburg all went a perfect 3-0. These kids are the future of Maryland wrestling, and we can’t wait to see them in the high school rankings.

Congratulations to every wrestler who made the list. Getting ranked takes hard work, sacrifice, and a lot of hours in the room, and your names are now part of Maryland and D.C. wrestling history. Share it with your teammates, coaches, and family. You earned it.

To our seniors, thank you for the memories and good luck in whatever comes next. To everyone coming back, the chase starts next month at the MSWA Fall Brawl. That will be our first early-season look at talent this year.
