SPRING RANKINGS UPDATE: 3rd Edition

Welcome to the 3rd Edition of Legacy Wrestling's Freestyle and Greco-Roman rankings. This update reflects everything we've watched since the season opened — from the early lines at Edgewood, to the US Open, to Spalding, and now the latest results from a strong weekend at Queen Annes. Some wrestlers have only tightened their grip on the top spot. Others made the kind of statement that forced us to move them up — and in a few weight classes, the order looks meaningfully different than it did two weeks ago.

But the real story is what's next.

The Maryland State Freestyle and Greco-Roman Championships are 10 days away. Everything you'll read below is a snapshot of where things stand right now — not a prediction of how it ends. Seedings get tested at States. Underdogs become favorites. Favorites get pushed.

And after States is complete, we intend to launch something brand new. Our inaugural Ironmen and Ironwomen Rankings drop after States — a separate honor for the wrestlers who put in the full tour and ranked in Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco. These are the ones who didn't pick a lane, and they're going to get a list of their own.
